Where the VX1000 fails miserably, the VX2000 makes up for. If you set your audio properly, you can easily get crisp pops and snaps. Again, look at good footy to decide for yourself. This means that you can either white balance for cooler or warmer colors without getting to biased either way. They seem to put out more neutral colors and probably read colors much more accurately. The VX2_00s actually have amazing color depth.

But if you know how to WB, you can get some warm vx1k colors. As far as the aforementioned colors, the white balance chip is actually calibrated differently. I personally don't think they are that cool. In my opinion, it really only give style points to those who like the look.
